In recent days, after Ustad Bismillah Khan, world has lost another legend - Hrishikesh Mukherjee!!
All his films were meaningful, timeless, amazingly simple, providing fascinating insight into human relations!

And with his death, an era of innocence, simplicity and beautiful filmmaking has come to an end!
May his soul rest in peace!

Totally agree with you. Hrishikesh mukherjee was an insitution in hiself and was one of his kind. Really enjoyed his middle class movies as a kid. Bawarchi was another great movie which you can add to your list.
It feels better thinking two precious jewels have moved up to adorn the night sky forever.

He made stars out of guys like Amol Palekar in the glorious days of much glamourous counterparts of Rajesh n Vinod Khanna!!
