Prescription for Procrastination

Throw your hat over the fence.

When you face a fence too difficult to climb, throw your hat over it. Then you’ll have to figure out how to get to the other side.

After her heroics at Melbourne and Hyderabad, she is flashed all across the media, somehow I do not find anything special about her....be on court or off court; off court she tries to imitate Preity Zinta's KHNH look and fails miserably.

hmm no more criticism after all she achieved something which no Indian women had achieved so far. All the very best girl.

where is the new crop??

ShahRukh Khan 39.
Aamir Khan 39.
Ajay Devgan 38
Salman Khan 39.
Sunny Deol 49.
Anil Kapoor 45.
Sanjay Dutt 45+.
Akshay Kumar 35+.

For past 12-14 years only these guys are ruling the bollywood, they come in all sort of roles, ranging from college romeos to underworld dons, and amazingly all of them have fan-following, no matter what crap they present on screen becomes a rage.

These guys have carved their own space through sheer hardwork, otherwise who would have of thought of someone like Ajay Devgan surviving another year in the tinsel world.

But who will replace them, where is the new crop??, apart from Shahid , I can't see any other potential superstar, No Abhisheks or Hrithiks or Vivek/Fardeen/Zahids can sustain for long.

Well, may be coz 18-35 age group middle-class segment decides the fate of stars and movie; and there are 'unknown/unexplainable' reasons for liking a star, hmmm.... for example in my case I started to like SRK right from his "Fauji" days; so its sort of nature of middle class segment to love/like a star for unexplainable reasons, same way Salman after so many controversies still have huge fan-following, same for all other stars.
And now purchasing power of this segment has increased manifold so they make it a point to watch their favorite stars movies year after year.

What Lies Behind Your Eyes?

In your eyes, people see life... You see yourself as just an average person! You enjoy life, love wildlife, but also enjoy time with those who know you best. You like to get outdoors and let your mind wander over all of the mysteries GOD gave to you. You don't really have a certain sanctuary because you're so well-rounded, but you like having fun and adventures, but can also be found sitting quietly about, reading a book. You have a pretty good life ahead of you, never trade it for anything else :o)

now, its getting seriously boring...and tiring; reading blogs is also not helping; chatting is the most boring thing that one can indulge into; and for a change I switched off my phone n that worked for me.

yestderday had an awful experience, actually we a group of four went to nearby pizza hut for lunch and ordered a pitcher of pepsi along with other stuff, till the very end everything was perfect, tandori-murg pizza never tasted better...but..in the end we found a FLY , yes a damn dead fly floating in the bottom of pitcher, and all hell break loose my friends gave sound verbal thrashing to the manager, all this spoiled the fun. Obviously they didn't charged us anything, and also sent a bouquet n a large pizza in the evening to our office. but we returned both.

maine dil se kaha, dhoondh laana khushi
na samajh laya gham, to yeh gham hi sahi

maine dil se kaha, dhoond laana khushi
na samajh laya gham, to yeh gham hi sahi
maine dil se kaha dhoond laana khushi......

bechaara kahan jaanta tha
khalish hai yeh kya khala hai
shehar bhar ki khushi se
yeh dard mera bhala hai
jashn yeh raas na aaye
mazaa toh bas gham main aaya hai

maine dil se kaha, dhoondh laana khushi
na samajh laya gham, to yeh gham hi sahi

kabhi hai ishq ka ujaala
kabhi hai maut ka andhera
bataao kaun bhes hoga
main jogi banu ya lootera
kayi chehre hai is dil ke
na jaane kaunsa mera

maine dil se kaha dhoondh laana khushi
na samajh laya gham, to yeh gham hi sahi

hazaaron aise faasley the
jo taiy karne chale the
raahe magar chal padi thi
aur peeche hum rah gaye the
kadam do chaar chal paaye
kiye phere tere mann ke

maine dil se kaha, dhoond laana khushi
na samajh laya gum, to yeh gham hi sahi

maine dil se kaha, dhoond laana khushi
na samajh laya gham, to yeh gham hi sahi...................
